What is this?
The platysma suspension or neck lift is the natural extension of the S-Lift and is often conducted in conjunction with the S-Lift.
The procedure
For a Neck Suspension (Neck lift) as a procedure by itself the incision is in the same location as for S-Lift except it commences at about the tragus (little bump in front of ear canal) and continues to behind the ear. The suspension sling is then woven into the platysma (the broad flat muscle of the neck) and suspended from higher up.
Before the procedure hypnotic sedation is given and tumnescent anasethetic infused into the area to be treated, and again many people sleep through the procedure.
This too is done in our on site operating theatre.
Afterward the incision line is small and readily heals stitches taken out about 5 days.
Cost
As a procedure in itself is usually no more than $3600, again costs vary depending upon requirements and may change without notice.
