When some people consider the sagging jowls and neck and discuss a face lift we find that there is no real skin laxity or that the areas would not respond well to lifting because there is little to lift. However because of the development of fat pads in the lower face and about the neck and under the chin there is a firm fullness.
This type of condition is amenable to Liposuction which slims the neck and reduces the heaviness in the lower cheeks and is able to redefine a more prominent jaw line.
This type of Liposuction is similar to normal tumnescent Liposuction except that smaller volumes of tumnsecent solution are used and smaller volumes of fat are extracted. Instead of moto driven suction small delicate hand held syringes are used which cause less drag and enable more precision.
Like other forms of Liposuction it is best to do precautionary blood and heart tests to ensure the operation is as safe as possible. This procedure too is conducted in our day procedure centre’s on site theatre.
Costs can vary however most procedures are no more than $1500.
